I have as much fun creating cakes and desserts, as I do researching history.
I started baking at 11 or 12, with my mom. But it’s only recently that I’ve started to learn how to decorate cakes.
Cookbooks have always fascinated me as much as fiction! I love history, and I love food and I absolutely love the history of food!
This blog is something I only started 6 months ago- I wanted to chronicle my recipes for my kids- as I didn’t see myself writing a cookbook! What can I say- its deeply satisfying- to write not just about food, but also my work with my seniors at Boon Keng and my museum related activities.
While I primarily write for myself, it amazes me that I even have readers! I love reading comments on my posts, and truly appreciate the fact that you take time off from your busy lives to read the random stuff I write about.
